This is especially so when the USWNT has a string of games coming up for the preparation of the 2024 Olympics holding in July this year in Paris. At the present time, the team is in a transition phase because top superstars like Megan Rapinoe decided to retire from the international level, while the young talents are on the rise. Competition across the globe is accentuated like never before, and so the race for gold remains on.

 Key Challenges

Roster Transition: Incorporation of new employees into the team without affecting the cohesiveness of the team.

Global Competition: Responding the increase in stronger international competition.

High Expectations: Striking a delicate ‘tween winning and growing the players.

 Key Players

Rose Lavelle: Hunter of lost causes in central midfield.

Sophia Smith: Deep learns with excellent speed and goal-scoring prowess.

Becky Sauerbrunn: Experience rear-guard offering inspiration.

 Expectations

However, the future looks bright for the USWNT with a mix of the experienced and new players accompanied by the team’s coach Vlatko Andonovski. Paris is going to be tough for the team but another gold medal beckons them and there’s no better time than now.
